                              Welcome to Charlotte County, Florida

Located in Southwest Florida, it's 28 miles of white sand beaches along the Gulf of Mexico provide swimming, picnicing and shelling. The protected waters of Charlotte Harbor are fed by the Peace River and Myakka Rivers creating a boaters paradise. In addition to the Gulf, Harbor and Rivers, there are more than 150 miles of man made navigable waterways.

Boca Grande Pass, in Charlotte Harbor, is known world wide for tarpon fishing. State and County Parks abound along the waterfront and within the housing communities. Sixteen golf courses, driving ranges and miniature golf courses for the small fry can also be found along with tennis courts, ball fields, museums and nature trails. The Charlotte County Sports Park is the spring training home of the Tampa Bay Rays and seasonal home of the minor league Stone Crabs Baseball.

Housing consists primarily of single story homes on standard and waterfront lots. Condos and gated communities are also available. Shopping is abundant and ranges from speciality shops to a regional mall.

Charlotte County is a sub-tropical paradise that benefits from year round warm weather and waterfront activities. Our coolest month, January, still provides plenty of waarm days and cool nights.
